This Second Year Teacher Programme is designed for teachers who finished their NQT year in Summer 2021 and are known as the ‘the pre-September 2021 cohort’.

This programme is an excellent opportunity for anyone in their second year of teaching, and especially for those who have already worked with us during their NQT year. 

It gives individuals the opportunity to develop their teaching expertise further. It also gives schools the opportunity to take advantage of the ‘one-off payment to further support the development of this cohort’ which is being offered by the DfE.

Delegates may attend some or all of the six sessions during the academic year.

 

Please note: Teachers in their 3rd and 4th year of teaching may also find these sessions useful and are welcome to attend.

Partnership Schools can access the full SYT Programme FREE of charge.

​

Non-Partnership Schools can access the programme on a pay-as-you-use basis (£60 per session - please see individual courses for further details). Alternatively, full access to the SYT Programme can be purchased; charges are £300 per delegate covering all SYT training sessions this academic year.
